Now I really have a rare bird

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

It actually sounds better than the aftermarket unit that was in there.

Remaining tasks: seat cover and cushion swap so I have one good seat (drivers) and one not so good, reinstall missing rear window seals, get new windshield. The seals and windshield may or may not happen, I don’t really want to spend the money on it and it’s not exactly something I can do myself. We’ll see

Wow, it almost looks like it was designed to be there.

A leather GSR shifter would look pretty stock, and they are almost always listed on ebay, who knows, maybe some one is even making re-manufactured ones now.

That’s cool man. I was gonna say if you’re really going for that stock look try to pick up a clean stock shift knob. Since you can’t find one I suggest looking for a newer OEM Honda shift knob online. That would look just as clean.
